New Laptop

I've been looking for a new laptop for the past couple of weeks and I found the one that I wanted, but it was about $200 over our computer budget so I decided to wait and see if it would go on sale. Yesterday I checked officedepot.com and they had the exact one on sale this week for $200 off the normal price. They had 1 in stock, so we drove up to Marathon to buy it. Awesome deal if anyone is looking for a new laptop! Trip to Homestead

Tuesday we took a bus up to Homestead. It's very sad that we have to go 2 hours to get to a wal-mart and best buy. We took the bus because it's cheaper than driving and we can both sleep on the way. Nothing too exciting, but I just wanted to post this because I have a picture of us on the bus...

Second Couponing Experience

Alright, so here is my second attempt at couponing and I think it went pretty well. I bought all of these item at Walgreens. The original total would have been about $25 and after mail-in rebates I spent a total of $2. =)

Audio Bible

It's very nice and has different voices for different people speaking and it has music. But be forewarned, whenever you get to a part where Satan is speaking, it might give you nightmares.

Favorite Coupon Sites

My favorite coupon website so far is CouponDivas.com. There you can click on a specific store that you want and they will tell you what is on sale along with what coupons will work with the sale. It is a very handy site.

A good site for coupon noobs like myself is CouponMom.com. It has videos of couponing tips and tricks. It even has a coupon database which has a list of all the coupons you can print as well as the ones that are located in the paper so you can keep them organized.

Whales

Last week a pod of whales beached themselves on Cudjoe Key because most of them were sick. Five of them survived and they were being cared for and needed volunteers to help. We signed up to help the whales on Tuesday morning from 8am-12pm and when we got there we found out that they had moved the whales up to a better facility in Key Largo. So instead of helping the whales Aaron ended up helping take down their pen. :(

Date Night

Saturday we went on a date night to Key West. We ended up going to the Mel Fisher Maritime Museum, dinner at TGIF, and then home to watch Dinner with Schmucks. Check out the pics here...
